Roland Satterwhite

Benedek Band is a project of singer, violinist, and guitarist Roland Satterwhite, featuring pianist Matt Kanelos, bassist Bobby McCullough, and drummer Franco Pinna. Musically drawing from inspirations as diverse as Bob Dylan, Nina Simone, Elliott Smith, and Tom Jobim, Satterwhite's compositions convey an honesty and nuanced insight in a voice very much his own. Satterwhite has played with Howard Fishman, Jenifer Jackson, Marta Topferova, Albita, Matt Kanelos, and Marta Gomez.
