Andrew Strong (born 14 November 1973 in Dublin, Ireland) is an Irish singer. He struck fame when he starred as Deco Cuffe; the lead singer of The Commitments, in the movie based on the book by Roddy Doyle about a group of Irish workingclass youths that start a soul band in the late 80's. His acting and vocal performances got the attention of record labels and in 1991 his debut album Strong was nominated for a Grammy Award.
He has since then released a number of albums, and toured the world with artists including The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Prince, Lenny Kravitz and Bryan Adams.
