ROBIN BARRETT is a legacy artist, and with well over a million plays/downloads on his old MP3.com page, an artist with a huge fan base. Since the death of SRV, Blues has had a hard time commercially. Johnny Lang and Kenny Wayne Shepard both failed to deliver the high original standards that their forefathers in the genre brought to the attention of the callused and jaded pop music masses. Robin Barrett, who was playing before those boys could hold a guitar upright, brings an age old style right up to the twenty-first century with bravado and skill.

Robin Barrett has been playing guitar since the age of ten & writing since he was 16. He was Frontman, Lead singer, Rhythm Guitarist, & principal writer for Tukanon Band from 1977 to 1984, moving from Country/Rock to Rock & earning critical acclaim & a loyal following.

Since 1991, Robin has turned his musical energy towards playing Blues Guitar & writing & singing some incredible Blues tunes. When you hear his music you will hear many styles influencing his songs. From Rock to Raggae, Pop to Country, all of Robin's Blues have an energy & musicality that are irresistable. Robin now plays with "The Robin Barrett Band", & "The Blues Party", & does an occasional reunion with Tukanon Band.
