Rio Mezzanino

A deep, intense voice wrapped in a mix of warm acoustic sonorities and acid electric nuances. Western atmospheres, obsessive rhythms, trenchant melodies and lyrics as visionary as a mirage over desert sand. This is the sound of Rio Mezzanino, a musical journey suggestive of dreamy images and far away places. The band was founded in 1997 and it gradually incorporated members from different musical backgrounds (rock, jazz, blues, trip-hop), albeit never too far apart to mingle and inspire each other.
