Growing up in Nashville, TN, Rich played in punk rock bands which took him to Middle Tennessee State University then to the prestigious Berklee College of Music. At Berklee, he refined his craft of composing in addition to dissecting and understanding the relationship between sound and image. He then went to the USC Thorton School of Music in Los Angeles, CA. Scoring multiple television shows (The King of Queens, According to Jim) and video games (Aliens vs. Predator, AvP 2, Fight Club), Rich then went on to score The Curse of El Charro, Nickel Children, Masters of Horror: Black Cat, Phantom Love, and Big River Man.
He is currently working on a score to a documentary called Mechanical Bride (2011), and in heavy pre-production to direct and compose music to The Bride of El Charro (2011).
