Richard Marcil is an American guitarist based in Orlando, Florida. In 2003, he released a solo instrumental CD, From The Edge, containing ten compositions of uplifting and encouraging spiritual new age music. In 2004, he formed the instrumental world fusion band, The Forefathers. Their initial self-titled debut CD (2006) reinterpreted many tracks from Rich Marcil's solo effort but using a full live band.
