With the release of their first album Machine in March of 2004, Resonant Soul gained considerable regional buzz. Scoring gigs with such major label acts like Whitesnake, The Misfits, Five Horse Johnson, and Embassy, the band successfully sold out of Machine in just over a year. With a rapidly growing fan base from countless gigs, RS decided to take the summer months of 2005 to record their first studio album, Stillwater.

Released in September '05, Stillwater has received significant airplay on 104.7WIOT and 106.5WRWK in Toledo as well as numerous college radio stations, including the University of Wales campus in the United Kingdom. October 2007 saw the completion of their most creative and ambitious album to date - The Death of Amara Lee - which has already drawn significant audiences from across the US and United Kingdom.
