Redwood Thinkers are a Leeds-based five-piece who combine melodic harmonies with good old-fashioned storytelling. Originally an acoustic trio made up of singers Kezia Wilkinson, Darran Cummings and Andrew Wright (two of whom, Andrew and Darran, provide intricate acoustic guitar), they expanded in late 2006 with the addition of jazz-trained double and electric bassist Ruth Wilde and sensitive, versatile drummer Will Aird.

They have been gigging extensively since then, playing at, among others, the 2007 Hay Festival in Derbyshire and becoming firm favourites at music venues such as Angel's Share, Leeds; Tiger's Lair, Hull; and The Blues Bar, Harrogate.
Their first release as a five-piece, the double A-side Fade So Simple/Falling Down, has been a popular download on their website www.redwoodthinkers.co.uk and was named ?mp3 of the week' on BBC Radio Leeds.
