Reba Hasko is a singer/pianist/composer. She studied theatre, opera and voice in New York, from where she moved to San Francisco in 1998. She started singing in public with classical works, but soon felt, that there were too many restraints to enfold her creative potential. She developed her own style of music, mixing up classical rock/pop ambitions with jazz, avantgarde, french art song and opera.
She developed her own style of music, mixing up classical rock/pop ambitions with jazz, avantgarde, french art song and opera. Her first record, "Live at Studio 43", conjoined her clear and beautiful voice with rich, confident instrumental styling, putting a focus on her masterful piano play.
In 2003 Reba was searching for new ways of expression with her perfomance project "Electropera", a seamless vocal performance with original poetry, loops and piano featuring the live video art projection of Sunit Parekh. Bringing "Electropera" to Berlin/Germany in 2004, Reba discovered the german capital as just the right place to go much deeper into her curiosities in music tech.
By Fall of 2004 she started to record her album "Seeds from the twisted Pear" which has finally been released in late 2006.
