Quickly becoming more familiar is the voice now recognized as a remarkably promising musician named, Randevyn. Fresh from the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Randevyn flaunts a new, polished brand of urban alternative music. Shortly after planting roots in Atlanta, Georgia, Randevyn ran into hip-hop icon LUDACRIS in a studio session that called for a background vocalist. This experience would spark Randevyn's interest in pursuing a professional music career.
Later, after an unsuccessful audition with Fox's American Idol (2005), Randevyn decided to merge a collection of soul songs he'd written and recorded. In October 2005, Joyner teamed with Sincere Johnson, CEO of Atlanta-based, Sin. J Entertainment, surfacing as as the company's flagship artist. Randevyn's compilation of songs was titled, SolTrain and nationally released by Sin. J Entetainment as an independent album in October 2005. Though released by a small company, SolTrain was nominated for several independent music awards, riding radio waves from the United States, Europe and Asia on Radio One and XM Radio. Randevyn's debut album also made its mark on Billboard's Radio & Records alongside Keyshia Cole, Pretty Ricky and Kindred in September, 2005.
Signed to Earthtone Records in 2008, Randevyn's sophomore studio album "The RANDEVYN Project", is an incredible, ground-breaking release with traces of influence from pop giants like Stevie Wonder, Peter Cetera, Bryan Adams and Chicago. With his profoundly conscious lyrics and Sunday morning vocals (mixed with a familiar hint of 80's soft rock), this southern songwriter is re-writing the rules of modern, urban music. RANDEVYN, also a former background vocalist for Motown's India.Arie, uses his colorful, tenor voice to share inspiring, thought-provoking life lessons throughout the threads of his music. This southern songwriter has created his own, unique brand of pop music that continues to capture the attention of audiences throughout the country.
