Born Steven E. Ragland, Raggs is an innovative Singer Songwriter who released his first CD "The View" in 2007. Originally from a "Coatesville", a small town outside of Philadelphia Pa., some of his influences were Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind and Fire, James Taylor, to mention a few. He has learned from various styles and genres to form his own unique blend of original music. Raggs was one of the original members of a popular group called "Kharisma" in 1979.
Raggs was one of the original members of a popular group called "Kharisma" in 1979. He decided to explore opportunities in 1980 where he joined the US ARmy and eventually won a selection to the US Air Force Showcase Talent Entertainment team two years consecutively.
Raggs currently performs as the main attraction for Halfway to Habana in Anderson SC with the same passion and technical expertise that he has been known for over the years and is currently working on a new CD to be released later this year.
