Rachel Sedacca

Rachel Sedacca is a singer/songwriter/guitarist from Ventura, California. Her influences include Bonnie Raitt, Lucinda Williams, Sheryl Crow, Alison Krauss, Nancy Wilson, Janis Joplin, Patty Griffin, Shawn Colvin, Bob Dylan and the Grateful Dead. She tours in her 1971 GMC school bus, Patience, fitted out with living quarters. Earlier in life she went to Grateful Dead shows and music festivals with friends in a bus. During that time, she began writing songs and learned to play guitar. Rachel performs her original songs as well as songs from some of the artists who have influenced her.

She has two albums, "Lucky Like Me," released in 2001 and "Patience Pays," released in 2008. One of the songs on "Lucky Like Me," "Days of '49" won first place in the American Songwriter Magazine bi-monthly lyric contest. Rachel is touring the Western United States during 2008 to promote the new CD, her second major tour in the school bus. Rachel also toured Japan in 2003.
