Qwill

Qwill is the stage name for singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Jesse Ciarmataro. He layers soul, indie, electronic, and roots to create music with a heartbeat. His new ep Hope, released on his label Simple Truth Records, is the result of his collaboration with the New York beat-maker Resonance. Qwill performs with a full band, solo and DJ sets. As a vocalist, he is known for his intensity and passion. Dedicated to experimentation, he is always pushing the envelope.

He has toured the US and Canada to open for Kaki King, and also shared the stage with a long list of artists, including Richie Havens, Ben Folds, Maroon 5, Amos Lee, and Lucinda Williams. He is currently recording a new album, which will feature hip hop artist and producer MC Esoteric (of 7L&Esoteric).
