The German band PULL A STAR TRIP takes off somewhere between Dashboard Confessional and Death Cab For Cutie, is driven by the engery of Taking Back Sunday and My Chemical Romance yet manages to land with a tank full of originality. Clear acoustic guitars and gentle piano playing are mixed with melodic singing and emotional screaming. Fueled by the tokens that define excellent singing and song writing, their melodies quickly become sing-alongs and listeners can't help but step into their spacecraft.
The press feedback for their debut EP "hooking up with hope... my favorite kind of one-night stands" was so outstanding that in January 2006, just 6 months after their foundation PULL A STAR TRIP played their first American tour including the world-renowned CBGB's.
