Blending demonstrative riffs with tasteful layering, guitarist Christine Fullwood clearly evokes the spirit of her musician father, the great Fully Fullwood ( Bob Marley, Peter Tosh). Bassist Cassandra Clawson, who received her masters degree in writing and put it on the backburner to pursue all things Rock, holds down the bottom end with song-oriented chops, creating a tight rhythm section with drummer Jodi Joy. Joy, whose playing was cultivated during personal lessons from renowned Jazz drummer Howard Curtis and Def Leppard's Rick Allen, steps out on her own with dynamic playing, shadowing a young and inventive Tommy Lee (Motley Crue). Abandoning her roots in Astrophysics and Meteorology to plot Pretty in Stereo's musical rise, front-woman Natalie E. Poole fills the groups songs with insightful lyrics, powerful guitar work, and a voice that demands the listener's attention. Music Connection, one of the top music industry magazines in North America, agrees, saying, " Poole has a rich vocal range that brings to mind Bangles' vocalist Susanna Hoffs. Their track, " Forever in A Day," for example, was featured in TV Guide Channel's documentary about Kimberly Caldwell, a finalist in the national phenomenon American Idol. They have also had several songs placed in the hit A&E reality show "Rollergirls'. Meanwhile, Pretty In Stereo are generating substantial buzz on the web. Their break-out track "OCD" has been selected as one of the five most downloaded songs on CNET's Rock charts and is featured alongside noteworthy acts such as Green Day in the Rock section of ArtistDirect's website.
