The Paranoid Foundation: a collaborative music/multimedia project aiming to explore the darker elements of the human psyche. The Foundation was originally formed in London, UK during 2003 by Crispin Lee and Andrew Walker: 2 sonic explorers with a shared interest in dark, experimental sounds. The duo took influence from a variety of musical sources including krautrock, industrial and punk through to dub, electronica and ambient/noise to provide an intoxicating soundtrack to the often harsh reality of modern life.

The Paranoid Foundation became a trio after being joined by Japanese graphic designer, Tetsu Okada. Tetsu provides the visual elements of the project. Samples of his work can be found in the 'Projections' area of the Paranoid Foundation website, his graphics providing an accurate visual counterpart to Cris and Andy's musical themes.
The trio operate their own small self-financed record label featuring regular limited-edition CDs. A number of future releases are in the pipeline and the Foundation continue to branch out with soundtrack, multimedia and live presentations and various collaborative art.
Recent collaborators include Japanese cyberpunk author Kenji Siratori and London-based electronica duo Redzone. In addition, the Paranoid Foundation have recently performed live in the virtual reality world 'Second Life'.
