Old Lady Drivers (O.L.D.) were a grindcore band formed in the late 80s, originally called Regurgitation. The original lineup was James Plotkin (guitar), Alan Dubin (vocals), and Ralph Pimentel (drums). They eventually swapped Pimentel for a drum machine and briefly recruited bassist Jason Everman (Nirvana). O.L.D.'s direction changed from a juvenile-humor-based extreme grindcore sound to a progressive metal sound (still influenced by grindcore, especially in Dubin's vocals).
Avant garde and grindcore notables such as Mick Harris (Scorn/Napalm Death) and John Zorn have worked with the band. They released their final album in 1995.
James Plotkin and Alan Dubin have worked on numerous projects since, most notably Khanate.
