ODDISEA

ODDISEA is a concept of taking rock music and experimenting with other genres of music such as jazz, contemporary, and world music. This LA-based musical group was formed in 2004 by Hirotaka Inuzuka, Chris Avalos, and Efren Garcia. The band went through various musical phases, in and out of pop music and experimental music. The first EP, BEING and FEELING, was self-released in 2006. In 2007 Marko Sanchez joined and the band went on to record their second EP, Tyranny of Distance. This recording is heavily influenced by jazz and Balinese gamelan music.

The group will continue to explore the vast ocean of sounds and their possibilities.
