Nicky Swann

Devon born and bred, Nicky Swann is a singer songwriter with a passion. Her heartfelt delivery is warm and soulful but always spiritually tinged. Elements of folk, blues and country abound when it comes to her relaying tales of love, hope and death. When citing influences Nicky lists Paul Weller, Carole King and Janis Joplin as her top three. After splitting in 2006 with her long term covers duo guitarist she searched for a replacement, only to be disappointed by those she auditioned. So determined to continue was she, she decided to take the role
of guitarist herself and quickly expanded her three chord repertoire and was gigging
again after six months.
She started to write new material and relaunched herself as a singer/songwriter.
She has achieved a growing, well respected reputation in such a short space of time,
singing from the heart and captivating audiences with her emotionally honest delivery
