A group formed by some high school teenagers from Decatur, Tennessee in 1972. Five band members travelled to a studio in Atlanta, Georgia to record eight original songs they had been working on for years. laid down some Hendrix/Doors-style garage-psychedelic music and made great use of the (early) distortion pedals with their guitars. Pretty impressive for a band whose members ranged from age 14 to 17. The classic track is "Power City" with it's goona-get-you-girl blues riffing and jamming.
Some sign of the times protest such as 'Speaking Freely' and 'Flying' and the epic psychedic "freak-out" fuzz-fest 'Flower'. The eponymous self-titled album would be the only one (they sold it at live gigs and at the local IGA grocery store!) Some terrific "frozen in time" lost classic music from the early 70's. Themes of Vietnam, Nixon, and youth culture in America for those who grew up in that era.
The band continued to play live for a number of years before various members grew up and went their seperate ways. A fire in 1981(or 1975?) destroyed many of the original copies of this LP making real vinyl extremely rare and collectable.
