Over more than six years as a band, NemoJoe has fine-tuned their craft both on stage and in the studio into a dynamic and textural rock sound unique among indie-rock bands of the Twin Cities. In 2009, their third album, Still Spinnin' comes to a vibrant beginning. The title pays tribute to the ever-present energy found through-out the band's previous albums (Now You Know, Crushed to Dust). With Still Spinnin', collaboration between the three musicians comes to life in one of their most diverse yet cohesive records so far.

Examples of over-driven sounds with heavy rhythms or quick tempos can be heard in ?Fear? and ?Throw Away?. ?Can't Stay Here? and ?Lean In And Surrender? are slower-tempo songs lush in sound and textures that captivate the listener with melodic phrasing and poignant riffs. Other tunes evoke Green Day-like pop-punk or sounds from the 90's ?Seattle era?.
