Nathan Bell

There is more than one artist with this name. 1) Nathan Bell resides in Baltimore, Maryland. He currently plays in the project Human Bell with Dave Heumann of Arbouretum, who are set to release their first official full-length via Thrill Jockey in early 2008. Nathan is perhaps most commonly-known, however, as former bassist for Baltimore underground legends Lungfish from 1998-2003ish. He played on the Artificial Horizon through Necrophones albums. In addition to collaborating with some lesser-known artists and bands, Nathan has also worked on more personal home recordings under his own name.

The compositions usually feature banjo and other instruments of a stringed nature; the genres in which he plays are not categorizable, as he touches upon many different types of music with his unusual style.
