A large part of Mynse's work thus far has been primarily with two other Launceston MC's and longtime friends Azrael and Ethics. With these two he is the beats behind Altrueism (myspace.com/altrueism) which was formed mid-2003. Using the groups name as a basis in early 2005 Mynse formed Altrueistic Recordings (altrueistic.com). With Altrueism, he supported and played alongside artists including Bliss 'n Eso, Phrase, WeaponX and Ken Hell, Heads of State, and Tom Thum to name a few. The first release under the production name Altrueistic Recordings was Alleyway Crawlerz Mixtape Vol.
, released mid-2005, which featured an all Tasmanian lineup and showcased some of the best Tas hip hop had to offer at that time. The second addition to the mixtape series was released in April 2006 and featured a couple of new faces to the scene in Tas. In late 2006, Altrueism decided to put the group's further musical ventures on hold, this gave Mynse the opportunity to focus more on his solo material and start to expand on his production work by collaborating with various artists state and nation wide. February 2007 saw Mynse releasing his debut solo EP titled 'The Mynstrual Cycle', a lyrical release which mainly featured Mynse's musing on the life lessons learned over the past few years, his battles to overcome negativity and the constant belief that if you want something bad enough, there's nothing to stop you achieving it. The energy Mynse has injected into the local Hip Hop scene through his groups and collaborations has certainly paid dividends for the young producer himself who has played alongside acts such as 3to2, Bias B, Nino Brown and Bigfoot. Mynse is currently working on multiple projects, including various mix-CDs, a local hip hop night titled 'Forefront Hip Hop' for Launceston city and a full length LP featuring national and international acts.
