Pink with yellow spots, Mr. Blobby was famous for his poor co-ordination which led to him often inadvertently upsetting celebs appearing at the front door of his home in Crinkley Bottom. A character on the phenomenally successful 'Noel's House Party', Mr. Blobby's debut single (yes, there was more than one) 'Mr. Blobby spent two stints at the UK number one - preventing Take That from getting the 1993 Christmas number one with their song 'Babe'.

A theme park based on Mr. Blobby was beset by financial difficulties and the character disappeared from UK TV screens when a row erupted between his keeper, Noel Edmonds, and the BBC - leading to the cancellation of the 'Noel's House Party' show.
