Formed by Iggy Faus and joined by indie veterans Matt Brown (Trespassers William), Coulter Leslie (Coulter), William Hallauer and Erik Blood (The Turn-Ons), the band's jangle-y rock is upbeat, textured, and unpretentious.

Called ?a masterpiece of britpop gems? by Seattle High Sounds Magazine, Altspeak released ?It's Up To You? on the Internet on July 2nd, 2008 as a free legal download. Since then, ?It's Up To You? has been downloaded over 5,000 times per month!
