Michael Denvir

MIchael Denvir aka "beautiful idiot music" was born in San Francisco, and grew up chiefly in Berkeley and New York City. He started writing poetry as a teenager, and this eventually turned into songwriting. Michael built up strong local following in the Los Angeles area in the late 90s and early 00s, and was particularly known for his powerful live performances. Disenchanted finally with the music industry, he turned to academic pursuits in 2003. Michael's music has been called a lot of things, but among his favorites is "beautifully striking, tuneful poetry" by LAWeekly.

He currently lives in NYC, and is working on writing a new album, one small song at a time.
