MC A.D.E. is an acronym for Adrian Does Everything. Born Adrian Hines, he is son Billy Hines, owner of of Ft. Lauderdale Florida's Royal Sounds of Music record store. Adrian and his teenage friends spent time in the store when in 1984, filming of the never-released break dancing film "Cry of the City" began. This is when Billy decided to run a record label from the back of the store releasing Rap/Electro records.

Within less than a year, Adrian was given a chance by his father to front records, debuting in 1985 with "Bass Rock Express". The song became a national underground hit, being the first Rap song about bass, inspiring similar songs such as Rodney O's Everlasting Bass, Original Concept's Pump that Bass, T La Rock's Bass Machine, and 2 Live Crew's Ghetto Bass.
In 1987, 4-Sight released a handful of A.D.E. fronted Electro Bass singles, followed by an album that began to move away from the Electro sound. By 1989, production methods changed to a more straight forward Bass/Hip-Hop sound (which still included a few Electro songs). The album was a regional smash, but as the 90s dawned, 4-Sight Records began to lose steam creatively and commercially.
As the label trimmed fat over the years, A.D.E. continued to use the label as a creative base with lesser known albums in the 90s before slowly fading more into the background.
