Mass Infusion was founded in 1998 in Palmdale, CA by Andres Martinez (guitar) and Pete Zayas (vocals/keyboards). Joined by Animal (drums) in 1999, they quickly began writing and compiling the material that would lay the foundation of their sound. Soon after, Ray Willadeen (bass) also joined the group until 2007, when he was replaced by Vik Sridharan (bass). Influenced by more bands and styles that you can count, their music is a blend of Metallica and Mozart, System of a Down and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and Tori Amos and Incubus.

"Mass Infusion is an idea. It's the total disregard of boundaries, perceptions, and expectations. It's a high-energy mixture of hard rock, classical, punk, salsa, metal, jazz, and anything else that inspires. These elements are brought together in an effort to create something truly unique. When it works, it's a Mass Infusion."
