Mark Ward is an acoustic singer/songwriter from Washington State who has had the chance to share the stage with many established acts such as Gavin Degraw, Gary Jules, Josh Kelley, Joshua Radin, Schuyler Fisk, guitarist Eric Johnson and Jim Bianco. Mark blends moving lyrics about life and love into artfully arranged songs that draw comparisons to artists such as Damien Rice for their intensity and sincerity.
Mark's songwriting has a subtle emotional pull reminiscent of Elliot Smith, combined with a sweet spirit all his own. Whether playing solo or backed by a band, Mark's songs move easily from haunting and melodic to powerfully guitar-driven, emphasizing his love of well-written music and his own folky lyrical style. Mark Ward's creative mix includes strings and guitar loops, and displays an ever-evolving sound that he performs with energy and charm to a growing fan base across Washington State and the country. Mark is currently gearing up for a series of shows and tours in support of his self-released debut E.P. "Broken."
