After 400 years of groundbreaking success, the band were picked up by the Ipswich-based label, Rising Records, who offered them cool badges and an all-you-can-eat buffet, in return for their souls and annual album releases.
Unfortunately, in January 2009, it was announced on Brave Hellman's MySpace, that he would be leaving the band, due to bladder functioning issues, and his long lived craving for hard drugs. This sparked much of a ruckus among the band, including multiple gummy bear-related suicide attempts of Mr. Blobby Robinson.
In February 2009, it was announced that grammy award-winning saxophonist, Mystery George, would be taking Hellman's place, and propelling the band into a galaxy completely unexplored by mankind. What this holds for the bands future is yet unknown.
The band will be playing Hammerfest in 2009, which is set to take place in a mountain abyss in Wales. Headlining this event will be the likes of Jopeth, and Glossy Floss For My Sheep.
There is much speculation as to whether Many Thing Untold may be the third and final headliner for 2009's Download Festival.
