Malicious Onslaught

Malicious Onslaught formed in 1986 in Stony Point located in Rockland County, NY by brothers, vocalist/guitarist Ted Hanauer and guitarist/vocalist Robert Hanauer. Ovie Rodriguez (who is now the drummer of Havochate) was their drummer. The band went through other members. They were most likely the first death metal band or one of the first death metal bands to form in Rockland County. They released a slew of demos and only two full-length albums.

Ted Hanauer was about 13 years old on one of the first demos. The albums the band released were Rebellious Mayhem (1992) and Brutal Gore (1994). These albums didn't receive that much attention in the United States. They had a respectable following in Europe and went into obscurity later on. Robert Hanauer hanged himself in late 1996. The band did go on without Robert, however they only played a few live shows and they were not really active. Ted Hanauer has been trying re-group Malicious Onslaught ever since they disbanded.
