Maceman is a Canadian singer-songwriter and musician, born November 9, 1970 in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. He grew up in Hamilton, Ontario where he presently resides with his wife and three children. ?As far back as I can remember, music was in my blood,? says Maceman. Maceman bought his first guitar by pawning the violin he received in his elementary school music class. His talents emerged almost explosively.

Self-taught on the guitar, he wrote many songs before discovering the piano as the centerpiece of his music. He is also proficient at bass and harmonica and has the amazing ability to learn any instrument necessary to express his thoughts. Although primary a Folk-Rock music artist, Maceman explains, ?I love all kinds of music. ? I like to focus on the different instruments, and how the songs are mixed.?

Maceman has a distinctive vocal style characterized by his soft, air-like delivery and use of multi-tracking to create vocal harmonies.
