M.V.P.

MVP (also known as Most Valuable Playas) is a hip-hop act from New York. The multicultural lineup of the group features an R&B singer from the Bronx, Vice Verse (a.k.a Victor Matos), Yonkers-bred/Bronx-born MC Stagga Lee (a.k.a. Eric Newman), and Robert Clivill?s (a.k.a Rob Dinero/Rich Kid). Clivill?s was also one half of the dance act artist C+C Music Factory, who had several hits in the early 1990s.

The group released two albums, Stagga Lee presents MVP(Casablanca/Universal Records, 2003) and Hip Hop, Clubs, Girls & Life Vol. 1 (Positiva/EMI Records, 2006).

The group's Positiva debut single, called "Roc Ya Body (Mike Check 1, 2)," was a European summer hit. "Roc Ya Body (Mike Check 1, 2)" reached #5 in the UK Charts in July 2005, it also reached #1 in the Official UK Ringtone Chart. "Bounce, Shake, Move, Stop!" was the second single released. "Bounce, Shake, Move, Stop!" became the group's second UK Top 40 single when it entered the UK Singles Chart and reached #22 in the UK Singles Chart in 2006. The group has released no further singles since then.
