When Cleveland musician Chris Feran poured his heart into "Love Song," he had no idea where the song, or his muse, would take him. Chris spent the next year after that first composition hard at work, writing and recording his first release, and creating grand plans for the future of his project. By the end of the summer of 2006, his project, now known as the alternative prog-rock band Lunavelis, transformed from a little-known one-man studio project into a larger-than-life musical experience, fueled by the sometimes fiery, sometimes melancholy demeanor that Chris expresses through his music.
The buzz grew as Lunavelis swallowed the talents of passionate and skilled musicians Kyle Napierkowski (bass), Richie Flores (keys), and Ben Kubit (drums) to help carry the message of Lunavelis to live audiences throughout the Midwest. With a live sound gushing with energy, Lunavelis thrived on the experience and subtle twists added by the new musicians. Together, the four members of Lunavelis continue to push the limits of a live musical experience in an effort to connect as closely as possible with the audiences they so appreciate.
Airplane, the debut album of Lunavelis, written and produced by Chris Feran, will be released on 13 March 2007 through the Arp Media label.
