Love You to death formerly known as The Pettit Project was founded by frontman-songwriter-singer-guitarist-former goalie for the Buffalo Bandits lacrosse team-lover of pretty girls Scott Komer in 1999, THE PETTIT PROJECT's instant success soon spread beyond the local scene through great songs, steady touring, and the website MP3.com. The band racked up over 130,000 plays on the website in less than two years of exposure, which led to a growing global fan base and has caused a steady stream of CD requests from such countries as Brazil, Japan and Indonesia.
In additon to writing all of the material, Komer produces and records the band at his own studio. The group endlessly shares their fun live show with their fans, touring Canada and the USA in a converted baby blue mini-school bus named Ol' Dirty Bastard. In an attempt to further spread the Pettit gospel of relationships, pop culture, and killer robots, Komer co-founded a label, Affluence Music Group, which recently secured national distribution for the band's latest release, "cheeROCKracy", via Sonic Unyon, one of Canada's most respected and hard-working independent music groups. THE PETTIT PROJECT self-financed a music video for the single "3 Cheers 4 Me", an anthemic sing-along about shaking off the loss of the "big game" (that is, a traumatic break-up), to promote the release, which has since been shown numerous times on Much Music. Additionally, the group's further efforts at self-promotion led to the use of their songs in the teen televison show "Radio Free Roscoe" (Nickelodeon)

Name change
The Pettit Project has changed its name to Love You To Death.
Yup, the Pettit Project, will now be called Love You To Death! There are a number of reasons, but the easy answer is that we were tired of people pronouncing and spelling our name wrong all the time.
