At least two bands are named Lobster: 1) Lobster are 64 all-mighty power rangers that got tired of crime fighting in early 2004. Live, Lobster is mainly composed by the drum set (Ricardo Martins), the e-guitar (Guilherme Canh?o) and anything else that may join the party in this electric sonic discharge headed to your ears with the goal of transforming you to a John Travolta on the dancefloor. The first full-length album is called "Sexually Transmitted Electricity" and is out on Bor-Land/Rock It.

2) Lobster is a reggae/punk band from Birmingham, UK that formed in April 2009. Their music mixes ska, dub, dancehall, punk and hip-hop. Lobster's first self-titled E.P was released in March 2010 and can be downloaded on last.fm for free. In early 2011 Lobster recorded their second EP alongside fellow Birmingham ska band Mr Shankly. Further into 2011 Lobster have started to play to bigger and more enthusiastic crowds, as well as sharing the stage with renowned UK acts such as [spunge], Smoke Like a Fish, Neck and Drongos For Europe. As well as this Lobster also reached the Midlands regional final of the European Surface Unsigned Festival - missing out on a place in the 2011 International Showcase by just one place and 15 text votes.
