Lisa's debut EP, Music Candy is a sassy upbeat pop rock mix produced entirely by Lisa Cavallaro and Jamie Myerson in late 2007. Lisa saught to bring Music Candy to the stage and searched for the right musicians to fit her musical tastes.
By January of 2008, Lisa formed a band that was later named *Band 9* with friends & musicians Vivian Almonte (backing vocals), Brian Millan (Lead Guitar), David Skelnik (Bass), and Milton Lugo (drums). Band 9 was ready to hit the stage.
Lisa's music took the South Jersey local music scene by storm. In March of 2008 "What is Love" made radio waves played by Delaware Valley's leading top 40 station 93.7 WSTW and was voted most requested by fans.
By April 2008 she was asked to appear on WSTW's Hometown Heroes show to discuss Music Candy, local music, and perform live. April brought joy and disappointment when conflictions brought Band 9 to a stand still.
After the release of Music Candy, Lisa had start over and build Band 9 entirely over again.
Lisa is now working with new musicians Clay Stiles (Bass), and Mike DiGenni (Drums) to bring Music Candy back to the stage for the fall of 2008. Lisa is also currently working on her next EP that will be ready in early 2009.
