Alex Gladwin

Alex is a solo artist from greater London in England. Started playing the guitar at around the age of 14 and then also picked up the bass and basic keyboard skills, as well as beginning to write songs, influenced mainly by his favourite bands of the time such as Oasis, The Verve and other mid-90s Britpop bands from his childhood. He was then influenced by a more acoustic and keys based sound because of bands like Travis, Coldplay and later Snow Patrol and Embrace, as well as other influenced such as REM, The Cranberries, The Beatles and more.

Alex has a full album available to download from most major digital distribution services including Itunes, the album was recorded in sessions from 2005 and 2006, mixed and produced by top London-based producer Ben Jones at his studio in London. An EP was released first on CD through CDBaby.com, this was later put on digital distribution services, and the full album then followed in the Summer of 2006 on CDBaby.com and now digital distribution too.
