Ladyheat is a full-on rock band that loves to have a great time and play incredible music. Ladyheat writes high-energy rock music with huge hooks, often drawing comparisons to The Stooges, The Strokes, The Hives, and The Rolling Stones.
The group's first full-length release (Raised By Wolves-2005) took listeners on a musically diverse, tongue-in-cheek journey through the wilder side of the Ladyheat psyche, while the subsequent ?Black Swank?(2006), and ?Sailor Jerry Sessions?(2007) E.P.s showcased the groups progression in to a much tighter and more textured force to be reckoned with.
Renowned for their live shows, Ladyheat has had the opportunity to share the stage with Electric Six, The Willowz, We Are the Fury, The Lonely H, and Digital Leather. Having toured the West coast, Mid-West, and Texas multiple times, Ladyheat has built a reputation for a raucously wild show that regularly sees band members scaling club walls, performing from the bar, or inviting lovely ladies to join them on stage to dance. Ladyheat loves to have a good time, and works non-stop from the very first note to the last cymbal hit to make sure their audience has an even better one.
Ladyheat is currently working on a number of new ideas for their upcoming full-length release, and has been steadily road-testing new material at select events across the Houston area before moving to Los Angeles in June to begin working on the final stages of their new album. One thing is for certain, Ladyheat never rests ? and never stops having a good time either.
