Joska Soos

Joska Soos was born in 1921 in a small village in Hungary where he was trained to become a shaman by the old village-shaman, also blacksmith and horse trader. After World War II he came to Belgium to stay. Since 1975 he gives workshops and helps people solve their problems. He says: "I do not heal, I restore harmony". When someone turns to him with a problem, Joska tunes in and calls on his guardian spirits. He then goes into a trance and sounds come to him.

The recording "Shamanic Ritual - Seven Realms of Consciousness" consists of ritual songs. These chants, drums, rattles and singing bowls sounds are meant to restore harmony within and between body, mind and soul.
