Jay Jays

Jay-Jays is born out of Jumping Jewels, back in 1966. Their first single Bald Headed Woman was a great succes, a top 10 hit, composed by Kinks-producer Shel Talmy. Hans van Eijk can be heard on this track, but leaves the band being disappointed in the music bussiness. Leo Bennink replaces him. The band did many gigs. First their music was more beat, but later it was influenced by soul.
