Folk

Jamie Notarthomas is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from the Syracuse, NY area. His self-titled 1989 debut earned him a strong regional following, and he began to earn a reputation as a top-notch live act. Notarthomas briefly relocated first to Chicago, then to Colorado, in the hopes of finding success on a larger scale, but ultimately returned to upstate New York around the time of his 1994 release, "Heads or Tales." On this album, he was backed by a combination of local rock musicians and luminaries such as John Popper and Trey Anastasio.
