Jamie Lynn Hart's musical talents are not a byproduct of a media conglomerate but rather a genuine blend of profound lyrics, infectious melodies, and compelling vocals. With extensive musical training combined with natural vocal ability, her voice is the standout feature of her music. From retro-soul and pop to intimate acoustic ballads, Jamie Lynn's musical style is a reflection of her diverse influences. Her carefully crafted songs are both meaningful and thought-provoking. She writes not only as a means of expression but as a form of art meant to inspire.
Jamie's artistic instincts came to life in high school when she first began writing. Prose written on napkins and scraps of paper eventually made their way into a notebook, which were then turned into poetic and imaginative lyrics.
Jamie Lynn then moved to Miami to continue her musical journey at the University level where she received her Bachelors of Music. After years of intensive vocal training, she moved to Boston and earned her Master's in Music at Boston University. There she began collaborating with the city's local talent and created one of Boston's most exciting and emerging new acts, The Jamie Lynn Hart Band.
Jamie Lynn Hart and her band keep an active performance schedule in the New England area and continue to expand their fan base with their energetic and captivating performances. Jamie Lynn has released two EPs and is hard at work on her first full-length album with producer/engineer Zach McNees (The Gregory Brothers, Coldplay, Bjork). Film director Phil Miller heard the new single, "Been Missing", and was inspired to make a music video. After the 3-day-long shoot in L.A., Jamie felt more confident than ever in her career path, saying, "This shoot was by far one of the best experiences I've ever had. I have no doubt in my mind that this is what I want to be doing for the rest of my life." Inspired by the recent success of the video's release, Phil created another concept using time-lapse videography to shoot a video for "Bird's Eye View", the second single from her soon-to-be-released record.
Jamie and part of her band are currently playing a three-month residency in Beijing, China. Upon her return she will resume performing in Boston and New York and release her debut full-length album with hopes of a national tour to follow.
