Jak Stout

Jak Stout is a band that originated in the Detroit area (Lapeer), has grown and honed a sound that could only be described as an amalgam of world and american sounds. Drawing from the reggae/dub tradition in feel, adding latin flavor with percussion and rhythms, Jak Stout integrates these into their international jazz/jam/pop/rock sound. The four members bringing their talents to the table are Jared Gregory (vocals and percussion), Kyle Canjar (Guitar), Sean Kline (Drums), and Nick Buzinski (Keyboards, auxiliary vocals/percussion, electronics).

All four are from Michigan and two of the members are music students at WSU. The band plays live in the Detroit area at various coffee shops, festivals, events, and parties.
