Jack Green (born March 12, 1951, Glasgow, Scotland) played with Marc Bolan & T. Rex between 1973 and 1974, then with The Pretty Things between 1974 and 1976. Jack Green's many contributions on the Pretty Things' 'Silk Torpedo' record go largely uncredited. This classic album is the darling of the critic and fans. He was also a founding member of the critically acclaimed band 'Metropolis', whose only recordings are highly sought after by longtime Green and T-Rex fans.

Later, Jack Green went solo with the smash albums 'Humanesque', Reverse Logic', Mystique'and 'Latest Game'. Jack Green received a Gold Record for 'Humanesque', which eventually achieved Double Platinum Status in Canada.
Green's musical genius is not to be denied. His popularity in Canada, Japan and Australia remains unwavered over the years and his fanclub The Jack Green Appreciation Society' has a worldwide membership that charges no annual membership dues.
