His album Somewhere South Of Somalia was written during a two-month solo voyage thru East Africa... Story-telling like we haven't seen since the early days of Slick Rick. Relatively unknown in the U.S., but was nominated for nine Blitz Premios (Portuguese Grammy's) for the records he made while living in Europe during the late 1990s.
