Here is what some have said about IWTBOT's performances
?Crunching lo-fi indie guitars, on again off again booty shaking back beat, and female vocals are random thoughts that come to mind when describing It Was The Best Of Times. They are a difficult beast to pin down because they take everything from dance floor beats, indie guitar swing, and standard rock ?n' roll and throw it into a blender.? ? Marc Clarkin, Motif Magazine (April 2nd ? 16th 2008 issue).
?It Was The Best Of Times live show is packed with big hooks and tight, stop-and-pop dynamics, but the clincher may have come with [the song] ?On Her Knees?. This one here is FM-ready, like right now, and we're talking drive-time, not just the graveyard shift.? ? Chris Conti, The Providence Phoenix (April 25th ? May 1st issue).
?It Was The Best Of Times' debut e.p. ?Hot-Blood? features three radio friendly unit shifters crying for prime time spins.? - Motif Magazine (May 7th ? May 20th 2008 issue).
