ABOUT THE BASS PLAYER: If Denny is the glue that binds the music together, Dale is the foundation upon which it is all built. Thundering bass riffs or subtle pops, Dale brings his R&B influences to the band in both style and discipline. Coming from a musical background built playing in the mining towns of Pennsylvania , his attitude is ?Tight is Right?. Dale is primarily responsible for the song arrangements in Idlewilde, with twists and turns that can take old standards and make them fresh again.

ABOUT THE LEAD GUITARIST:
Jon has been playing guitar professionally for over 30 years, in bands all across New England , playing styles ranging from classic Funk to Hard Rock , Country, Blues, and Southern Rock. Over those years, Jon's style developed into a blend of hard charging Texas Blues interwoven with the subtleties found in early Allman Brothers performances. Jon's version of the Hendrix classic ?Little Wing? is a perfect platform to demonstrate his entire range of guitar styles. A founding member of Idlewilde, Jon collects and restores vintage guitars and amplifiers so he can get ?that sound?.
ABOUT THE DRUMMER:

ABOUT THE LEAD SINGER:
Phil has been playing music professionally for over 20 years, both as a soloist and as a member of various bands. Prior to joining Idlewilde in 2000, he performed with the western Connecticut-based classic rock band Livewire. His major influences are the Chicago blues harmonica masters such as Little Walter, Junior Wells and James Cotton, the songwriting team of Robert Hunter and Jerry Garcia, as well as bands such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Allman Brothers Band and the Grateful Dead. Phil also enjoys performing as a duo with his daughter, Kelly. He also contributes original compositions to Idlewilde's repertoire. Phil is currently working on new material for Idlewilde's next CD.
ABOUT THE KEYBOARD PLAYER:
Denny, another of Idlewilde's founding members, provides the glue that binds the band together, musically. The soothing, swirling, occasionally edgy sounds of his classic Hammond B3 Organ provide a musical canvas upon which the other soloists paint their works. But when it's time to go, Denny rocks with the best of them, delivering solos reminiscent of Greg Allman's style on ?Filmore East?. A veteran of bands from Pennsylvania to Connecticut , Denny is a member of the Boston Blues Society and restores classic tone-wheel organs and Leslie cabinets as a hobby. His favorite saying? ?Hey, can you give me a hand with this??
