Formed when two dynamic forces united as one to take their rightful spot in popular music. Shawn Winstian and Shane Condo may be a new songwriting team on the scene but individually they've both been planting the seeds that led to their collective arrival for well over a decade. For the last 10 years Shawn Winstian has worked behind the scenes as a personal assistant, journalist, freelance writer and graphic designer.

He's been credited on various programs for MTV, VH-1 and E! as well as the upcoming feature film, "Tattered Angel" (directed by Will Benson and starring Lynda Carter) for his behind the scenes efforts. As a journalist he's interviewed such pop icons as Tiffany, Deborah Gibson, Martika, E.G. Daily and Amber. Not to mention Wonder Woman herself, Lynda Carter.

Shawn first got his start in 1995 as an assistant to pop singer/actress Stacey Q best known for her blockbuster singles, "Two of Hearts" and "We Connect" as well as her recurring role in the 80's hit sitcom, "The Facts of Life". It wasn't long before Shawn's talents were tapped by other artists. In recent years he's worked along side former Expose' chart topper now solo artist Gioia Bruno. As a graphic designer Shawn has contributed to the art direction and design on numerous CD/DVD releases which include a DVD for hit-maker Tommy Page ("I'll Be Your Everything") and a debut album "Variety Show" for Canadian songstress Kim Esty.

Shane Condo is also no stranger to the music world. While Shawn's work was all behind the scenes Shane was cultivating his craft center stage. He made his television debut on the Australian talent show, "Darryl Sommers New Faces" winning the "Ricky May Encouragement Award" and a few years later in 1991 released his debut CD "Daydreamer". At the time Shane wrote, recorded and mixed "Daydreamer" entirely on his own 8 track digital recorder.

After a few years recording in commercial studios, Shane started building his own studio in 1995. Using his unique blend of vocal harmonies and creative guitar arrangements, Shane quickly started producing some outstanding music (Shane also holds a Diploma in Audio Engineering from SAE College of Perth). In 2002 Shane opened Condo Music and began lending his talents to artists all over the world. Whether its as a composer, performer, producer, recording or mixing engineer Shane is able to easily switch gears without ever missing a beat. He's continually reinventing and perfecting new studio sounds, always pushing himself to the limits for a great song.

What makes this songwriting duo unique however is that they wrote and produced their first 40 songs without ever being in the same room together. You see Shawn's the lyricist who lives in the United States while Shane's the composer (and vocalist) residing in Western Australia. This partnership may be a bit outside the norm but keep in mind it's the 21st century and this dynamic duo feels their songs will speak for themselves!

Shawn states, "After we wrote our first song "Euphoria" we couldn't ignore how well we worked together. Our individual styles blended together beautifully and we instantly began creating some very unique songs. In the past I sat in studios with producers and the results were not even close to what Shane and I can achieve from a million miles away."

Soon after Shawn and Shane decided to form Hydra Productions and license their original songs to artists and record companies as well as for film and television use.
