The band Himlav?sen (swedish for "a lot of noise" or "heavenly beings") was founded in 1978 in Gothenborg by Sven Fridolfsson and friends. In the year 1989 Himlav?sen released it's first album "Hip Bop" where the song "Walkin'" on was for a while #1 on the instrumental list on the radio channel P3. Three years later (1992) the album "Open House" was recorded and released with the hit single "Dutch Ticket".
The years went by and a lot of band members didn't really have all the time they needed working full time and a lot of members were also switched out but Sven was always there keepin' the band together and sometimes oldies like Christer Bodell (keyboard) or Mats Werner (trumpet) could be seen as stand-ins on concerts playing their original instruments or even come back after being away from the band for a while. Himlav?sen later released "Bluesmobile" [1994] and "Brothers" [1999] and since Sven got more and more experienced in the musical business he wrote better and better songs so Himlav?sen's best album is classified to be "Brothers".
This of course revers to their appearance like the famous Blues Brothers.
